Clip the highlights

I spend a lot behind my computer, for work (having my own business in programming) as well for fun. I consider myself to be a realistic idealist. I like to share creativity and filosophic thoughts. And I love people that dare to show their true faces, whatever it might look.

I strongly believe that the greatest gift we can give to eachother AND ourselves is the gift of freedom. Freedom to become what ever you want to be and to explore whatever you want to explore. I.m.o. there's no point in telling another what to do or don't. You have to make that up for your own life. My life motto is: be your own leader, be your own follower.

Life is all about learning and I'm trying to enjoy my little mistakes. In my experience I learned the most from people who took their time to think, to do and to enjoy the little things in life. I learned the least from noisy, overacting people.

Life feels sometimes like a hanging record, making the same mistakes over and again. One of my favourite songs is 'Wise up' by Aimee Mann. It features in one of my favourite movies: 'Magnolia'. A lot of different personalities encounter difficulties in their live. When they fall, they fall silent. And by that they finally pick up the needle and wise up.
